Polar Field Services, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Field Coordinator to join
our team in Greenland.
About Us: Polar Field Services, Inc. is a leading provider of field
services for remote expeditions. We specialize in planning, logistics, and
support for scientific research and exploration in challenging environments.
Job Description: As a Field Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in
maintaining the infrastructure and equipment at Summit Station, a remote
Arctic Research Facility. Your Responsibilities Will Include
Repair and maintenance of field equipment, including trail markers and
Skiway markers
Inventory management and supply ordering
Food inventory management
General maintenance and support tasks
Qualifications
3+ years of experience working in a remote environment
Mechanical aptitude and excellent repair skills
Valid passport
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits
Competitive pay of $1,227 - $1,388 per week
Health and welfare benefit of $4.22/hour for the first 40 hours worked
each week
Opportunity to explore the Arctic and contribute to important scientific
research
Work Schedule: This is a seasonal position requiring deployment to Summit
Station, Greenland. Deployments are typically from April to June and June to
September. The position requires working a minimum of 54 hours per week.
