We’re on the lookout for a Parts and Stores Operative to join our team in Elgin. If you're organised, practical, and enjoy being at the heart of the action, this could be the perfect fit.

In this role, you’ll be supporting different teams, helping keep our parts and stores running like clockwork, and delivering great service to colleagues and customers alike.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day parts, admin, and customer service tasks
• Helping to keep our stock secure, organised, and up to date – including hazardous materials
• Making sure everything is in the right place by maintaining our centralised parts system
• Working closely with our Workshop team to make sure they’ve got what they need
• Assisting customers at the counter or by phone and processing their orders
• Spotting and solving any stock control issues with the support of the Manager
• Carrying out regular stock checks and making sure our records are accurate
• Sharing your knowledge with colleagues to help improve how we manage parts
• Ordering, receiving, issuing and dispatching parts efficiently
• Sticking to our standard processes and safety procedures
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a parts, stores or inventory-based role
• A methodical, organised way of working
• Someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in doing a good job
• Comfortable with systems and stock processes
• Awareness of safe handling and storage practices (especially for hazardous goods)
