Overview
Suns Procurement Analyst is an important part of Suns supply chain and procurement processes and systems through the oversight and management of key projects and programs, supplier inventory, and purchasing and financial settlement activities. The Procurement Analyst acts as a central point for the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team by ensuring forward momentum of project, process, and program objectives through utilizing strong project management, communication and supply chain management skills. The Procurement Analyst is operationally minded and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

The Procurement Analyst acts as a central point for the Strategic Sourcing & Procurement team by ensuring forward momentum of project, process, and program objectives through utilizing strong project management, communication and supply chain management skills. Job Duties
- Leads designated supplier relationships and programs including execution of needed agreements, management of supplier performance and achievement of identified objectives for availability, quality, total cost and customer satisfaction
- Manages supplier inventory to ensure availability of stock for Sun product standards. Where inventory is not available, working with the supplier to identify a suitable product alternative which ensures supply is available upon demand
- Oversees and manages the SS & P project portfolio in Wrike to ensure adequate progress on stated initiatives
- Supports Sun's fleet program, including forecasting, and facilitation of annual incentive agreement negotiation
- Leads onboarding of new suppliers into Sun's procurement platform by gathering key supplier information and assisting in the creation and maintenance of quality catalog content
- Develops and deploys processes and/or process changes, including training of impacted team members
- Supports and maintains key systems critical to the procurement process in in support of Sun's logistics programs
- Oversees and manages property surveys, including communication of results, internal and external, ensuring follow through on identified action items
- Manages Sun supplier rebate programs
- Manages Sun Partner Program, including the facilitation of needed partnership agreements, maintenance of the website and spend/rebate reporting
- Oversees and manages the UPS relationship and program, including the review, coding and approval of invoices
- Serves as liaison between Sun and procurement partners, including identifying expanded opportunities for Innovation, partnerships, rebates and programmatic development
- Leads Strategic Sourcing & Procurement data mining, analysis, and report distribution
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain/Procurement (Required)
- 3 years experience with data analysis
- 3 years experience with data analytics
- General knowledge of Supply Chain/Sourcing Process. (Preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills. (Required)
- Analytical mindset able to solve problems effectively and creatively with little supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A conscientious self-starter with a work attitude the exhibits flexibility, initiative, good judgment and dependability.
- Advanced computer proficiency with the ability to learn new processes and software quickly.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience operating within and/or administering procurement technology. (Preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Self-sufficient and able to accept feedback.
