What You’ll Be Serving Up

You will play a critical role in supporting the growth of KFC US, managing and executing promotional plans that deliver exceptional value for new and existing customers and drive traffic to our nationwide restaurants. In your role, you will help shape our retail calendar, pricing, and merchandising approach to keep the brand top of mind for consumers and continue to strengthen our iconic brand.

Here’s How You’ll Spice Things Up

Driving Value News and Pricing to drive sales, traffic, and profitability


  • Deliver exceptional value to consumers by defining value-driven promotional campaigns (limited time offers) as part of our national promotional calendar.
  • Drive positive economics for restaurants by building and validating the underlying business plans based on consumer, marketing, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure seamless execution by orchestrating cross-functionally to deliver against planned initiatives.
  • Drive continuous learning by assessing past results to inform the next wave of promotional activations.
  • Support a menu for growth that delivers on value by optimizing pricing.
  • Provide visibility across KFC US leaders, cross-functional teams and franchisee leaders and committees (NCAC).


Test and Validate Value-Driven Promotions


  • Develop a pipeline of value promotions that align to the calendar and value strategy.
  • Validate all facets of each value promotion via consumer screening and testing.
  • Facilitate the market testing of value promotions as a critical step in our validation process.


Leading and inspiring your team


  • Inspire and cultivate a high-performing team by communicating clear results-oriented expectations, mentoring and equipping the team with resources to meet objectives and grow their careers at KFC US.


What You Bring To The Table


  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university, preferably in Marketing, Marketing Research, or Social Science.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of relevant work experience with Bachelor’s, 6+ years with Master’s.
  • Skills:
    • Steadfast ability to act as the key person-to-contact in interactions with downstream stakeholders, including franchisees and customers.
    • Proven ability to lead and inspire direct reports to achieve company objectives.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage and align cross-functional stakeholders; ability to present effectively to senior leaders.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and form action-able recommendations.
    • Exceptional project management capabilities, including driving great outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
