Position Summary
The Training & Process Development Coordinator is responsible for documenting internal workflows across all departments of AVA Law Group, developing firmwide training materials, and onboarding new hires. This role ensures that all employees have access to clear, standardized processes and that these are followed consistently across teams and offices. The Coordinator will serve as the lead trainer for the firm, designing and implementing scalable training programs to support AVA’s growth and performance standards.

The Coordinator will serve as the lead trainer for the firm, designing and implementing scalable training programs to support AVA’s growth and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Documentation:
- Shadow employees across all departments to observe workflows and procedures.
- Write step-by-step documentation for job tasks, systems use, communication standards, and firm policies.
- Ensure process documents are reviewed, approved, and stored in a centralized, accessible location.
- Regularly update documentation to reflect changes in workflow or policy.
- Training Program Development:
- Design and implement a structured onboarding and training program across all roles.
- Create role-specific training tracks based on documented procedures.
- Develop training materials, SOPs, manuals, checklists, and e-learning content.
- Maintain a master training schedule and track firmwide progress on training initiatives.
- Staff Training & Evaluation:
- Conduct in-person or virtual training for new hires or staff transitioning into new roles.
- Monitor employee proficiency through practical demonstrations, job shadowing, and evaluations.
- Sign off on employee readiness after training completion and skills verification.
- Coordinate with department leads to align training with expectations and performance benchmarks.
- Collaboration & Oversight:
- Work closely with leadership to identify areas needing documentation or retraining.
- Assist department heads in implementing new processes and ensuring adoption across teams.
- Maintain version control and consistency in training materials across all locations.
- Serve as a resource for ongoing employee questions about processes or tools.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as Business Administration, Organizational Development, Legal Studies, or Communications) preferred.
- Must have 3 or more years of relevant experience in training, instructional design, process development, or operations.
- Strong organizational and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to observe, analyze, and translate workflows into clear, user-friendly documentation.
- Experience in employee training, instructional design, or process improvement.
- Comfortable conducting training courses and evaluating employee performance.
- Familiarity with legal, professional services, or administrative office environments preferred.
- Self-motivated, approachable, and capable of working independently across departments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally between office locations, as needed.
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Perform repetitive tasks such as typing and clicking.
- Must be able to lift and move light items up to twenty pounds at times.
- Must be able to bend, reach, push, pull, lift, and sit.
