The Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of Financial Reporting and Analysis in its support of all business units and executive management. Specific activities include analysis and reporting, monthly/quarterly reporting, annual and strategic planning, profitability analysis related to cost allocations, funds transfer pricing and capital allocation, as well as maintenance and input to financial information systems.

Job Summary
The Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of Financial Reporting and Analysis in its support of all business units and executive management. Specific activities include analysis and reporting, monthly/quarterly reporting, annual and strategic planning, profitability analysis related to cost allocations, funds transfer pricing and capital allocation, as well as maintenance and input to financial information systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily processing to include system interfacing, balancing, reconciling, and data integrity across all Financial Planning owned applications.
- Evaluate, design and implement database logic using available tools.
- Identify and provide required data to support various staff at all levels of the organization Ensure data integrity; validate accuracy of content and reasonableness of information through ad hoc analyses.
- Maintain policy, procedures and documentation according to corporate and regulatory standards.
- Experience with data manipulation tools, with proven ability to reliably manipulate data within complex models and databases.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Knowledge of Accounting and Financial principles.
- Ability to balance multiple, diverse priorities while delivering a quality product.
- Three to five years of experience with systems administration.
- Banking or financial services a plus but not required.
- MBA preferred but not required, bachelor’s degree in MIS, Business, Accounting, Finance or related field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
