Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Leadership:
- Lead a geographically dispersed sales team with vigor, establishing tangible goals and fostering a nurturing environment to amplify performance.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and increasing sales to existing clients. Most focused on developing our Group business, enhancing of BT and Associations penetration and the appurtenant F&B revenue from those channels.
- Set performance expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to foster professional growth.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with the hotel's products and services.
- Develop and present regular sales and pace reports, performance metrics, and market analysis to the executive team, highlighting key insights and recommending actionable strategies.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to identify sales trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- 10+ years of hospitality sales experience, showcasing a proven history of guiding sales teams to victory.
- Comprehensive understanding of the hotel sector, inclusive of market segments, consumer demographics, and industry flux.
- Exceptional analytical prowess and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Outstanding leadership and management aptitude, fostering a motivated sales workforce.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, coupled with professional demeanor and time management capabilities.
- Proven resilience under pressure, managing priorities in a dynamic setting with finesse.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
