1 **Shift:** First Shift (United States of America) **Summary:** The Department of Cancer Prevention and Control is seeking a Project Assistant to primarily conduct intervention research. This person will work closely and collaboratively with department faculty and staff, community leaders, and other scientists. The Project Assistant will support the research mission of the Principal Investigator through the following areas; 1) recruit participants; 2) deliver intervention components (including educational lessons); 3) collect quantitative and qualitative data; 4) assist in the development of study databases and entering of study data; and 5) work with community and academic partners to disseminate study data to diverse audiences. The total pay range for this position is $45,148- $57,726 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. **Qualifications:** Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in the functional area of assignment; or
- Associate's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in the functional area of assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with REDCap or similar applications for building and managing online surveys and databases
- Minimum 12 months of full-time research experience in a community setting
- Experience delivering interventions in community settings
- Experience working with research participants
- Experience with data collection
- Experience working with people
