Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the development and execution of the end-to-end supply chain strategy, encompassing organizational design, demand/supply planning, logistics, procurement, and process optimization.
  • Own and synchronize supply and demand of stock (FSV/SF) and RX Lenses through a scalable, cost-effective supply chain framework that supports business growth and operational excellence.
  • Spearhead supply chain transformation initiatives through technology adoption, process innovation, and continuous improvement while ensuring JSOX/HSE Compliance.
  • Drive regional S&OP, Demand & Supply Management Process (from Sales Forecast to Purchase Plan).
  • Management of Inbound Logistics, DC Operations, Transport Management, and Inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Proactively manage supply chain risk by monitoring global trends and implementing contingency strategies to maintain continuity.
  • Establish procurement strategies that ensure timely sourcing of logistics providers, relevant materials and align with company objectives.
  • Lead NA-LATAM specific supplier selection & contract negotiation processes – in collaboration with Global Strategic Procurement - to maximize value, minimize risk, and uphold quality standards.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key suppliers, service providers and partners, driving long-term collaboration and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Commercial, Manufacturing Sites and Rx Operations teams to ensure alignment between supply chain capabilities and innovation pipelines.
  • Lead supply chain sustainability efforts (scope-3) aligned to the Global Sustainability strategy and in cooperation with other functions.
  • Liaise between Commercial teams and Global Production Sites.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to optimize product delivery, quality, revenue growth, and profitability targets.
  • Partner with Finance to manage supply chain budgets, forecasts, cost-saving initiatives and cash flow improvement strategies (inventory, payment terms).
  • Coordinate with Commercial and other Operations stakeholders to meet customer delivery expectations and support financial and operational objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership on market trends, emerging risks, and supply chain opportunities.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-driven decision making.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, agile supply chain team with a focus on accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Drive talent development and succession planning to strengthen organizational capability and long-term resilience.

Experience/Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain & procurement, including executive-level roles.
  • Proven success in end-to-end global supply chain leadership within fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Expertise in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain systems, sourcing, and supplier relationship management
  • Deep experience in logistics, distribution, and managing major service providers & suppliers.
  • Skilled in supply chain process improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in forecasting, budgeting, and business planning
  • Proficient in ERP, WMS/TMS platforms, data analytics, and business intelligence tools
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation, legal terms, and risk management strategies
  • Track record of driving automation, digital supply chain transformation, and sustainability initiatives
  • Collaborative partner to product development, engineering, and finance to support innovation and growth
  • Optical industry background a plus, with familiarity in specialized materials, workflows, and customer needs

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced Degree preferred

Requirement to travel nationally and internationally for up to 20% of the time on average
