Summary
- Operational responsibility for the Metro Denver region, including Longmont, overseeing a broad portfolio of specialty and surgical services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of exceptional, patient-centered care across multiple specialty departments within the health system.
- Directs the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, vision, values, and objectives of the department and organization.
The Director of Medical and Surgical Specialties plays a key role in the health system's strategic and operational efforts by:
- Accountable for performance metrics across the region, including patient access, quality, provider engagement and retention, patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with specialty clinical leaders and hospital and administrative partners to implement strategic initiatives and optimize care delivery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability among multidisciplinary teams.
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with a focus on specialty care and surgical services.
- Strong background managing complex specialty practices or departments within a healthcare system.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams
- Bachelors Degree
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills to effectively manage specialty provider groups and operational teams with a focus on culture building.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage diverse stakeholders, including providers, staff, and executive leadership.
