This Position is for a Credit Administration Specialist with a company in Ridgeland, MS.
General Position Scope
Perform operation functions within the Credit Administration Department which supports credit quality goals. Additionally, this position develops new reports as they pertain to credit operations and loan operations.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Organize, coordinate, and audit credit files for compliance with relationship thresholds and loan policy requirements for tracking critical exceptions, as defined in the Financial Information/Credit Analysis policy.
Develop reports for various departments using basic Excel, Cognos, and Salesforce skills. These reports include, but are not limited to, specialized portfolio reports and analysis, loan reports, reports for upper management and Board reports as requested by Credit Administration and bank officers.
Responsible for system maintenance of accounts, as directed by Financial Accounting, EVP/Chief Credit Officer, or executive management.
Evaluate requests from officers/assistants for financial exception clearing and waivers to determine if requirements are satisfied.
Assist with efforts as they pertain to the annual Federal Home Loan Bank Audit, including assisting auditors with image system structure and organization, obtaining documentation, reviewing loan files, etc. Assist in preparation of the FHLB loan extract and review of loan data for accuracy, using excel skills and loan knowledge.
Assist in preparation for the annual FDIC/State Examination. Assist with clearing of documentation exceptions, working with executives and bank officers/assistants and examiners.
Assist in preparation for the annual Internal Audit review, including maintenance of the Credit Administration Walkthrough along with responses to document and procedural requests.
Monitor loans secured by Wealth Management and WealthPlus accounts, as defined in the Wealth Management Account Secured Loan and LPL Financial Account Secured Loan policies.
Maintenance Officer Lending Limits table and Credit Administration documents in SharePoint.
Review, process, report, and track Letter of Credit requests, including mailing and imaging letters.
Review SBFE data transmission information. Coordinate correction of reporting issues by communicating with the SBFE and other bank employees.
Assist in administrating the nCino loan origination software, including, but not limited to, creating reports and dashboards, working support cases, user support, and implementing new releases. Maintain up to date knowledge of nCino.
Assist in preparation of Executive Loan Committee agenda and minutes.
Research values on the National Automobile Dealers Association website for lender collateral requests.
Monitor the nCino Support inbox and assist users in resolving issues/questions.
Participates in the bank's High-Performance Rewards Connections program.
Make referrals to Wealth Management and the Mortgage Center
Other duties as requested.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including, but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc. Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank's standard of conduct.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree, or Associates degree with 2 years of loan processing/documentation experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook.
General computer and typing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Strong ability to multi-task
