Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for a UI Developer on our largest PRIME contract. Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base. This premier program encompasses traditional software services including Systems Design and Engineering, Database Administration, Data Science and Knowledge Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Integration and Test, as well as Operations and Systems Support. Your contributions are…
- Develop and maintain user interfaces across multiple web applications using React and Angular frameworks
- Implement responsive, accessible designs using Material Design components and TailwindCSS
- Collaborate with senior developers to translate AI functionality into intuitive user experiences
- Participate in user feedback sessions to understand how real users interact with our tools
- Debug and resolve front-end issues across different browsers and devices
- Document UI components and maintain style guides for consistency across products
- Contribute to UI/UX discussions and propose improvements based on user behavior and feedback
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to continuously improve quality
- Work closely with backend developers to ensure smooth data flow between UI and AI services
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 3 years of experience in front-end development or relevant academic/personal projects
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Basic understanding of React and/or Angular frameworks
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Curiosity about user needs and willingness to challenge requirements when necessary
