About The Role
As a Product Analyst at COUNTRY Financial, you will be a critical member of our Market Management team (formerly State Product Management), reporting to the Market Analytics Supervisor. You will be tasked with improving our product insights for Market Managers by advancing product analytics, driving our analytic and competitive tools and our data. In short, you will have the rewarding opportunity to drive Personal and Commercial Lines into the future by providing the analytic and data-driven tactical support to the local markets to drive the business.
As data storage and analytics technologies are modernized, you'll have the chance to learn new tools, processes, and capabilities. You'll be plugged into a highly collaborative team that has deep expertise but also looks for ways to continually grow their knowledge to help the company reach its strategic goals.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL.

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.

How does this role make an impact?
- Drive the successful development of new products and the effective management and enhancement of existing products by making recommendations regarding product design, pricing, underwriting, agency management, distribution, claims and other processes.
- Ensures overall goals for production and underwriting profitability are met by analyzing premium rates, loss experience, and retention. Monitors the mix of business in assigned state(s), identifying changes in the mix and reasons for those changes.
- In conjunction with marketing, develops assigned state(s) business profit and growth strategies and translates business ideas and market opportunities into new product ideas by researching and maintaining awareness of all major competitors' current market positions (i.e., rates, service levels, financial positions and operating strategies), business directions, financial dynamics, and new technologies.
- Communicates and coordinates key profit metrics by coordinating with the Information Technology (IT) department to ensure proper implementation of rate revisions, new products, new product features, and other initiatives; develops working relationships with Accounting, Actuarial, Claims, Customer Service and IT.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present to small groups.
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance products and processes.
- Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
