Job Summary
Manages the process for complying with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines for notification of hospital discharge rights. Acts as secretarial support to licensed staff as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education An individual with high school diploma or GED.
Experience One or more years of experience in a medical field such as admissions, registration, and medical records including knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Knowledge and Skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Windows. Ability to type proficiently at least 30 wpm.
Equipment Must demonstrate working knowledge of office equipment.
Physical Requirements Must be able to perform essential physical job requirements.
PAY RANGE
$21.00 - $29.12
The posted pay range reflects the lowest to highest pay that was available for this position at the time of posting and may be subject to change. Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
