Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

• Oversee daily school operations in alignment with The Goddard School brand and licensing standards
• Develop and implement school policies and best practices
• Partner with on-site owners to drive excellence and strategic growth
  
  
  

Staff Management & Development

• Recruit, train, supervise, and retain a high-performing team
• Conduct regular staff evaluations and provide coaching and professional development
• Foster a collaborative, supportive, and positive workplace culture
  
  
  

Curriculum & Program Quality

• Support and ensure implementation of a high-quality educational program
• Guide teachers in developing lesson plans that are engaging, age-appropriate, and individualized
• Maintain a strong understanding of child development and instructional best practices
  
  
  

Family & Community Engagement

• Cultivate strong, trusting relationships with families
• Provide ongoing communication about children’s progress and respond to parent concerns with professionalism
• Promote the school within the local community and participate in outreach initiatives
  
  
  

Financial & Business Oversight

• Collaborate on budget development and manage school finances efficiently
• Oversee enrollment, billing, and financial reporting
• Ensure resource allocation aligns with program and business goals
  
  
  

Health, Safety & Facility Management

• Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and cleanliness
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and routine safety drills
• Ensure proper maintenance of the school facility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field
• Proven leadership experience in an early childhood setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and curriculum best practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Inspirational, hands-on leadership style with a passion for education and children
