ABAP DEVELOPER

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a ABAP Developer for JBS that reports onsite at the Corporate Office in Greeley, Colorado.

The ABAP Developer will be working as a member of the SAP development team and will be responsible for the delivery of ABAP program assets based on technical specifications and may be called upon to fill gaps in specifications with expert knowledge. The ABAP Developer is expected to provide technical expertise for system design, testing, implementation and support, being his/her primary focus during the design and development phases of projects and on user support.

Responsibilities

  • To develop quality code and associated documentation adhering to team and departmental development standards.
  • Interface with functional teams to facilitate process improvement and develop new functionality.
  • To provide SAP support including analysis, development, testing, tracking and resolution.
  • To demonstrate a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritization.
  • To demonstrate high level of communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience developing ABAP applications
  • SAP functional area knowledge particularly FI-CO, SD and MM
  • Report writing using ABAP List Viewer and ABAP lists
  • Sapscript and Smartforms
  • Dialogue programming
  • BADIs/BAPIs
  • Experience with the SAP Enhancement Framework as well as User Exits
  • Experience with the Data Dictionary
  • ABAP Workbench
  • ABAP Objects
  • BDC’s
  • Interfaces
  • Web Dynpro for ABAP
  • Function Modules, Groups and RFC’s
  • ALE and IDOC’s
  • Participate in technical specification creation and interact with the functional teams
  • Ability to understand functional specifications and provide correct solutions
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving & communication skills
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $75,000-$85,000; and
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
