Key ResponsibilitiesHR Operations & Compliance
- Review, update, and implement employee policies and procedures.
- Maintain and enhance employee benefits (health, 401(k), PTO, compensation, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
- Advise managers and employees on EEO, harassment prevention, and other employee relations matters.
- Lead employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Recommend and implement improvements to internal processes, organizational structure, and company culture.
- Foster employee morale through engagement initiatives.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee data and personnel records.
- Support the development of department-specific HR policies and procedures.
- Handle sensitive HR matters and confidential employee data with discretion.
- Maintain relationships with external HR vendors and partners (benefits providers, payroll services, etc.).
- Collaborate with leadership to resolve employee relations issues and foster a supportive workplace.
- Participate in HR projects and other duties as needed to support the team and company goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent HR-related experience.
- Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills English and Spanish
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Solid problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Prior experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state HR laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with ADP and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Operates in a professional office environment.
- Regular travel required between:
- Torrance
- Downtown Los Angeles
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move items up to 20 lbs.
- Regularly required to talk, hear, walk, and use hands.
