What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)
- Facilitate day-to-day operations for the employee volunteer program, which includes supporting worksite group leaders with activity planning and execution, facilitating site activity requests and approvals with steering committee, administering and tracking program budget, and communicating and reporting results.
- Maintain and enhance current STEM awareness and education program, which includes coordinating community experience demo materials, developing updated offerings, and supporting execution of large events in target markets as needed.
- Develop communications that drive internal awareness and understanding of Murata’s sustainability and CSR efforts.
- Manage General Administration (GA) SharePoint site to support effective internal communications on behalf of the team.
- Monitor trends related to a variety of social responsibility issues relevant in the electronics industry.
- Provide support for customer sustainability-related inquiries as needed.
- Review processes for continuous improvement, enhancement, or streamlined approach.
- Perform other job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, sustainability or related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in communications, sustainability or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interpersonal communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize assignments while meeting critical and established deadlines for different responsible parties and internal business clients.
- Strong administrative, critical thinking, and analytical skills with the ability to embrace change.
- Self-motivated, organized, accountable, and a resourceful problem solver.
- Experience creating content for digital, print, and other channels.
- Proficiency in Power BI.
- Knowledge of the Responsible Business Alliance organization and Code of Conduct.
- Customer service experience.
