Division info:

Located in Livonia, Michigan, the 120+ employee facility (100,000 sq. ft.) is one of Héroux-Devtek’s centers of excellence for design, development, manufacturing, assembly and support of landing gear, actuation systems and other aerospace components.

As part of the Central Division you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs supporting Boeing, LockHeed Martin, Parker Hannifan, and military initiatives such as the B-2 Stealth, F105, and V280.

With a strong focus on latest technology of the manufacturing processes with machining automation and techniques we aim to remain the best value producer of complex landing gear components.

Summary of position:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for tracking the company’s financial performance against a plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and helping senior management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
  • Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
  • Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
  • Maintain knowledge and keep abreast of new investment regulations or policies
  • Develop models that help with decision-making
  • Assist in closing procedures that involve some journal entries and reconciliations
  • Provide analysis on costing data related to production orders using the Bill of Material actual costs and hours reported

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CMA a plus.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or other related fields.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to accuracy and detail required
