Responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. Provides material supply services for a variety of departments as requested.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Education
Transporter I
Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.

Minimum Education
- High school diploma or equivalent X Required
Transporter I
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified Medical Assistant Licensure Preferred
- Current Georgia licensure as a Certified Nurse Aide Preferred
- EMT -B Certificate of completion of course work Preferred
- Pharmacy Tech Cert Preferred
- Completion of Nursing Fundamentals in Lieu of CNA Licensure Preferred
- EKG or ECG course completion certificate
- One or more of the above certificates or Licensure is REQUIRED.
- BLS - Basic Life Support Certification - REQUIRED
Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
