We are seeking a Specialty Med Patient Assistance Coordinator to support patients and families by assessing their financial situations and connecting them with medication assistance programs.
- Responsibilities include coordinating, reviewing, and tracking applications for free or low-cost medications from drug companies as part of the Specialty Medications program.
- The role requires collaboration with medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff to ensure patients access necessary medications despite financial hardship.
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication skills, proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Preferred experience includes pharmacy, healthcare, or customer service in ambulatory or retail settings.
