The Chimney Scientist, a trusted name in chimney repair and maintenance services, is seeking a professional and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be great on the phone with customers, highly organized, and able to handle a fast-paced, multi-tasking role. If you thrive on delivering outstanding customer service and enjoy managing calls, scheduling, and emails, this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage 60+ calls per day with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Handle incoming customer inquiries, providing detailed answers and solutions.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, managing calendars for technicians and ensuring availability.
- Respond to emails promptly, funneling requests to appropriate departments.
- Utilize software tools such as ServiceTitan to input and organize customer data (prior experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided).
- Multi-task effectively by managing phone calls, scheduling, and administrative tasks simultaneously.
- Be familiar with the Norristown, PA area to provide local insights when assisting customers.
- Communicate updates, changes, and confirmations to both customers and internal team members.
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar administrative role.
- Strong phone etiquette and the ability to engage professionally with customers.
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software quickly; ServiceTitan experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on new tasks.
- Familiarity with the Norristown, PA area is preferred.
