What You'll Do
As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence across our medical device operations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations and R&D Technology, you will:
- Lead the deployment of the Lubrizol Operating System across global sites.
- Partner with regional site leaders to deliver Lean Six Sigma training, kaizen events, and workshops.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement improvement programs aligned with business goals.
- Champion continuous improvement strategies and maturity models across the region.
- Develop and deliver training content and standardized materials for operational excellence.
- Facilitate best practice sharing through Communities of Practice.
- Support critical improvement projects and coach teams on Lean tools and methodologies.
- Promote the use of project management and Lean tools to improve performance and accountability.
- Guide teams through operational self-assessments and standardized playbooks.
- Communicate risks and progress to stakeholders and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Act as a change agent to enhance systems, processes, tools, and team capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Program Management, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of combined experience in business and manufacturing operations.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading operational excellence programs at a global or regional level.
- Demonstrate the ability to build strategic roadmaps and prioritize initiatives effectively.
- Excel at coaching, facilitating kaizen events, and delivering Lean training.
- Influence change across functions without direct authority.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO13485 and medical device manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with VSM, DMAIC, Kaizen, and operational excellence frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS Project, and Power BI.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and critical thinking skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and solution-oriented with minimal supervision required
