Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst II

Location: US - CA - Remote

Job Summary

  • As an Entry Level Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our supply chain operations.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing insights to help optimize our global supply chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using SQL and Python.
  • Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Drive automation projects on an aggressive timeline with a team of world-class engineers and designers
  • Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and engineering, in order to best understand business needs and develop data-driven solutions
  • Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization
  • 3+ years of experience using SQL & Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of and supply chain management and planning principles, practices, and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions Proficiency in pandas, NumPy, and other Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with supply chain management software, such as SAP or Oracle
  • Experience with ERP or supply chain system implementation
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques
  • Certification in supply chain management, such as APICS or ISM
  • Instruct staff on how to resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
  • Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
