Description

The Professional Services team is responsible for providing presales and implementation support to Choice Solutions’ business customers. The Systems Engineers work with Sr. Solutions Architects as the build engineers for the professional services team. Please note that the candidate who fills this role must reside in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, Texas, or Tennessee.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary build engineers to deliver solutions as designed by Sr. Solutions Architects
  • Install, configure, and support:
    • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (on-premises or Citrix Cloud)
    • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) in client Azure environment
    • Nutanix AHV or VMware ESXi-based workloads
    • M365 with Exchange Online
    • Intune
  • Collaborate directly with customer IT teams to:
    • Understand environment readiness and prerequisites
    • Communicate build progress and implementation status
    • Validate successful deployments through client walkthroughs and testing
    • Support UAT and troubleshoot issues during deployment
  • Interface with internal cross-functional teams and external third-party vendors to ensure on-time delivery of technical solutions to customers and accuracy of designed solution
  • Ensure work is performed in alignment with security policies and change management processes
  • Continually provide input on enhancing internal post-sales processes and develop new processes to create more efficient workflows
  • Remain current on the latest technologies that align with business initiatives
  • Conduct research on technical details and specifications to assist with designs and customer inquiries
  • Create high-level solution drawings (Visio) and document implementation steps and configuration changes
  • Continually pursue knowledge on latest trends, product releases, and vendor offerings
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in build and implementation roles
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working for an integrator or consultant
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients
  • Additional experience with other technologies such as ControlUp, FSLogix, IGEL, Nerdio, Liquidware, etc. is a plus
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Citrix Certified Associate-Virtualization (CCA-V), Azure Virtual Desktop (AZ-140) certifications are a plus

Professional Services Requirements & Expectations

  • Will be available via Slack, email, and phone to provide timely answers to team members, vendors, and customers
  • Perform after-hours duties on an as-needed basis
  • Assist the team where needed by actively working on customer issues, handling calls, assisting other team members in issue resolutions, etc.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the team by sharing knowledge, experience, and expertise with other team members.
  • Interact with the service delivery team, managed services engineers, and account managers to provide our customers with the Choice Experience
  • Must directly interact with various customers
  • Ability to work within a team through virtual media outlets
  • Capable of managing own workload with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and process driven to see projects through to completion
