The Corporate LMS Managing Director is a dynamic and visionary role responsible for the strategic leadership, vision, innovation, execution and operational oversight of the organization's Learning Management System (LMS). This role ensures the LMS aligns with evolving educational and training objectives, meets compliance requirements, and delivers effective and engaging learning experiences meeting the professional development needs of internal and external stakeholders. The position also involves leadership of a high-performing LMS team and cross-functional collaboration with other departments. With a growth mindset, the Corporate LMS President owns responsibility for the product’s go-to-market strategy, customer experience and lifecycle, and revenue operations while driving efficiencies for growth and accelerating execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead sales efforts and strategic revenue expansion in the LMS space by building high-performance teams, expanding client base, and representing the company at key industry events through attendance and presentations.
  • Define, execute and drive aggressive long-term growth strategies aligned with the organization’s learning, business, and growth goals, as well as market trends and customer needs.
  • Prospect and build relationships with current and potential corporate customers, driving new customer acquisitions, upselling, and customer retention.
  • Establish KPIs and benchmarks for system performance, learner engagement, and content effectiveness in addition to monitoring and analyzing course usage, completion rates, feedback, and learning outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and digital transformation in learning delivery and user engagement.
  • Provide strong leadership to foster a culture of high-performance and ongoing learning for a team of LMS administrators, instructional designers and sales representatives, while fostering a positive and thriving culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), product, marketing, customer success and learning teams to ensure timely delivery of relevant, high-quality learning content.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance and administration of the LMS platform, ensuring reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.
  • Manage LMS third-party platform (e.g., HRIS, CRM, SSO) relations and integrations, as needed, to streamline processes and data flow.
  • Oversee product development, customer support, and service delivery, to ensure efficient and effective service provision.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients and strategic partners, to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Prioritize client needs by working closely with stakeholders to assess learning needs, gather feedback to ensure needs are being met, and implement improvements or strategic shifts to meet evolving needs of educational institutions.
  • Ensure the LMS meets all regulatory requirements, accessibility guidelines and data privacy regulations while generating reports to track learning outcomes and compliance metrics.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure the LMS product’s financial health and sustainability.

Salary range for this role is: $150k-$200k

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in education, information technology, business administration, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-7+ years of experience in leading cross-functional teams in EdTech with focus on LMS and SaaS solutions.
  • Experience managing enterprise-level LMS platforms while driving innovation.
  • Proven track record of significantly scaling revenue and exceeding revenue targets.

  • Strategic with tactical execution and an in-depth understanding of LMS platforms and e-learning standards.
  • Strong Leadership Skills with the proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities with the ability to analyze data and execute on findings.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build strong relationships.
  • Results driven organizational development skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of LMS data structures and e-learning standards.
  • Financial acumen and product management expertise.
  • Ability to travel as needed to client meetings and conferences.
