The position involves working under the supervision of a Families Forward Supervisor to oversee the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU), a 24/7 program serving individuals in acute mental health distress.

  • Responsibilities include coordinating behavioral health treatment, supervising staff, providing direct consumer services, participating in program planning, data analysis, and policy development.
  • The role requires ensuring all activities align with organizational policies and mission.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, a full Michigan license (e.g., LMSW, LPC), and at least 3 years of experience with children and families facing mental health issues.
  • Leadership experience and effective communication skills are essential.
  • Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, reliable transportation, computer proficiency, and be able to participate in a 24-hour on-call system.
