Job Description
Under the direction of the Vice President of Ambulatory Care Services, responsible for oversight, management and direction of UF Health Patient Access Center, which supports ambulatory care for over 80 clinics across primary care and specialty services within the health system. Accountable for access, service and quality performance of the Patient Access Center. Performs statistical analysis and reporting of access impact. Plans implementation strategies and implement continued development of full-scale Patient Access Center and expansion of access services. Establishes long and short range objectives for the Patient Access Center that link with organizational goals. Serves as subject matter expert on access and template management with ambulatory services. Leads access initiatives relating to template management.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements: 5 years - Progressively responsible administrative experience in an applicable health care setting or major call center which includes working knowledge of statistical analysis, resource management, senior/executive level interaction, demonstrated management and leadership experience - required 5 years - Additional years at the senior management level may be substituted for years of college training - required 5 years - Combination of college and equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired may be substituted - required Education: Bachelors Business Administration, Allied Health and Health Care Management - required Masters - Business Administration, Allied Health and Health Care Management- preferred 5-8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a bachelor�s degree will be considered Travel: Up to 25% Manager Approval Authority: o Capital Expenditures: $2,000 o Supplies/Expenses: $2,000 o Vendors: Places orders with pre-approved agencies o Salary Approval: Jointly with manager and leadership for internal movements o Employment Decisions: Recommends accommodations, discharge/termination of employment based on documented disciplinary actions o Position Requisitions: Reviews for approvals and appropriate specifications Supervises: 1 Training Manager Up to 4 Team Leads 1 Senior Team Lead 1 Workforce Team Lead Up to 3 Triage Nurses
