Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct existing competitive men’s lacrosse program; overall management of team with support from La Roche’s Athletics Department. - Understand and ensure compliance with all NCAA, University, and Department policies and regulations. - Manage the recruitment process of future student athletes to maintain and enhance the program, while adhering to NCAA regulations. - Coach student athletes in all phases of the sport; includes practice time, rules and regulations and standards for intercollegiate play. - Represent the University with integrity, ethical behavior and professionalism. - Monitor academic progress of athletes; make recommendations as necessary. - Assist with event management/site supervisor. - Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior lacrosse competitive experience
- Coaching experience within higher education preferred
- Ability to travel and work varied schedule, including some weekend hours
- Valid driver’s license
