Associate UX Designer - #1336376

The Associate UX Designer will focus on developing their skills in visual design and usability. In this role you will support senior designers by executing design tasks and contributing to the creation of user interfaces. This role is heavily mentored, with an emphasis on learning UX principles, tools, and methodologies A day in the life! You will be responsible for the following:

• Assist in the design of UI elements like icons, graphics, and layouts
• Support Solutions and Engineering teammates by providing design assets and prototypes
• Support in the gathering of user data through various strategic user research methods
• Prepare and maintain design documentation, including specifications and style guides
• Collaborate with UX designers and developers to ensure visual coherence and usability
• Participate in design reviews and workshops to gain feedback and improve skills
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Do you have what it takes? Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Possess a portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web-based applications, mobile applications or consumer facing web sites and/or applications, including write-ups detailing process and approach

Do you stand above the rest? Preferred Qualifications:

• Completed a degree with a preferred major of Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems/Decision Sciences, Mathematics, Sciences, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction
• Possess an understanding of the latest design and technology trends
