Full job descriptionAs an ENTRY LEVEL Proofreader on the Production Team, you will be responsible for proofing/editing marketing materials and client deliverables produced by our creative team prior to client review, approval, and print. Specific responsibilities include proofreading/editing direct email and mail campaigns, websites, and digital elements to ensure quality control is maintained at the highest levels. This is an ENTRY LEVEL, full-time, salaried, remote position. Employee must be located within the Continental U.S., eastern or central time zone preferred, but all are welcome to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES: Review and evaluate client deliverables for content, grammar, style, and accuracy, as well as relevance to the selected campaignWork collaboratively in a team environment with designers to proactively resolve inaccuraciesManage and update work assignments via company’s internal CRM platformMaintain schedule of deadlines for printing and mailingREQUIREMENTS: BS or BA degree in English or related field0-2 years’ professional experience proofreading/editing OR the equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achievedExcellent proofing/editing skillsExcellent computer competency and adept at learning new digital platformsOutstanding attention to detail and organizationProficient in MS Office products; knowledge of Excel is a plus!A familiarity of publication formatsAbility and desire to accurately perform repetitive tasksMust have a team-player attitude, forward-thinking mentality, ability to give constructive input and take direction well
