Job Summary

As the Global Director of Quality, you will oversee and align our Quality Management Systems (QMS) across facilities in Italy, France, the UK, Seattle, and Michigan, ensuring ISO9001 compliance and initiating ISO13485 where necessary. You will partner with cross-functional teams, advocate for continuous improvement, and provide strategic leadership to maintain operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain a global QMS in line with ISO9001 and incorporate ISO13485 requirements as needed.
  • Develop key performance indicators and lead continuous improvement initiatives across all global sites.
  • Enforce compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory/legal requirements, upholding strict quality controls.
  • Evaluate production operations to confirm product integrity, functionality, and global compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to set and uphold quality benchmarks.
  • Lead a team of quality inspectors and technicians, fostering a hands-on approach and engagement on the production floor.
  • Oversee process integration flow mapping, incoming material inspections, and calibration of monitoring devices.
  • Conduct periodic management reviews, reporting quality metrics and improvement opportunities to executive leadership.


Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality (preferred).
  • Proven expertise implementing and maintaining ISO9001 QMS; ISO13485 background highly desired.
  • Familiarity with Lean & Six Sigma methodologies, 3D software, project management, and strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and capacity for strict confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work in both office and production floor environments, including hands-on tasks as needed.
