We are seeking a Data Management (DM) Analyst (CDM) to support program activities in our Fort Wayne, Indiana facility. As a team member of the CDM group, you will work with program managers, engineers, and other CDM professionals to process hardware, software changes and or documents and CDRL submittals within a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software application, ensuring accuracy and completeness of drawings, schematics, software, and/or documentation as well as meeting the CDRL submittal demands for customer requirements. The ideal applicant will be able to interpret and apply policies, processes, procedures, and standards in all aspects of the job meeting customer requirements.

Responsible on an assigned program(s) for adhering to the data management requirements. Plans, prepares, organizes, control and submits required data in order to comply with contract specifications. Ensures that data management activities adhere to company policies and procedures.

  • Establishes controls necessary to ensure that assigned, required data is compiled, prepared, reviewed, approved, published and submitted to or received from the customer in quality form, on time, and within budget.
  • Prepares a data management plan, when required, to define and provide an integrated system for the analysis, planning, monitoring, storage and retrieval, status reporting, receipt and submission of data required on a program.

  • Plans and implements processes and procedures necessary for the generation of the data items and monitors adherence and quality to the CDRL/SDRL and DID.
  • Evaluates program data requirements and prepares C/SDRL and DID for subcontracts in accordance with contractual requirements. Controls data received from subcontractors.
  • Ensures the establishment, maintenance and project level control of master files for all data in accordance with a Data Management Plan.
  • Reviews all deliverable data for conformance to customer requirements and coordinates this effort with the preparing function and Performance Excellence.
  • Analyzes requirements of contractual data to establish and/or provide direction to preparing groups.
  • Establishes program milestone targets for each data element and develops methods/procedures of reporting progress against these milestones.
  • Ensures responsible groups have validated their data when required.
  • Attends meetings with the customer and other appropriate cognizant function representatives to address matters pertaining to request for waivers, progress reports, criteria for acceptance and other related matters.
  • Participates in the preparation of proposal responses, cost estimates, and estimates to complete in support of the program office.
  • Maintains knowledge of Data Item Descriptions (DID), applicable MIL-STD and Contract/Subcontract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs/SDRLs).
  • Prepares reports/briefings for program management as required in fulfilling the role established for data management on the program.
  • Creates reviews, edits data, as required, coordinates, and directs the final preparation and production of data items and the execution of all other matters related to the development and delivery of contract data items in accordance with the CDRL.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills


Education

  • Requires a graduate degree and minimum of two years of experience in engineering support or equivalent of five years of work experience in Configuration and / or Data Management.



Experience


  • General office environment related work experience.
  • General knowledge of Configuration / Data Management principals.

  • Strong professional, interactive, and administrative skills
  • Demonstrated cross-functional teamwork skills in a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Strong Analytical, technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills are a must, with a solid understanding of the typical PC applications especially MS Office Excel and Word.
  • Attentive to complete work accurately and on schedule, often within a collaborative, dynamic team environment requiring occasional overtime.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring quality and conformance to contractual requirements.


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $63662 - $108225

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
