With an innate design eye and strong understanding of digital marketing, the right candidate will be responsible for the design & execution of an array of digital materials, large and small, for Sweetwater Sound.
From ad campaigns to landing pages, our Graphic Designer will work across multiple channels of the business to deliver brand-appropriate and best-in-class design solutions with a strong emphasis on driving business results through the design craft.
The perfect fit is an experienced creative who has worked on an in-house creative team partnered closely with channel owners to continually optimize design frameworks. Must have a strong understanding of eCommerce and a passion for gear & the music making process. Job Responsibilities
- Translate marketing strategies and retail objectives into compelling visual executions that engage and excite retail shoppers
- Design and deliver effective creative solutions for promo campaigns, site banners, social and landing pages
- Collaborate with the creative team across photo, video, copy and UX
- Present creative to peers and marketing stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
- Build decks for internal and external facing projects and creative pitches
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Visual Arts/Design
- At least 3 years of experience working on consumer brand products in an advertising capacity and/or within an e-commerce/retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret brand needs, and to develop innovative, creative and results-oriented rich media solutions to address those needs
- Strong, independent designer with a proven track record of delivering exceptional thinking and stunning visual design on all different types of creative assets
- Strong portfolio of cutting-edge visual design in retail or the music industry
- Understanding of web development tools, capabilities, and programming languages
- Proficiency in a broad scope of multimedia applications, strong technical skills, and the ability to conceptualize with colleagues and clients to produce powerful creative
- Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with support, executive management, creative supervisors, etc.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback and direction from stakeholders and superiors, quickly turning insights into iterative action
- Clear and concise written and oral communications skills

- An understanding of responsive and adaptive web design
- Adobe CC Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects
- HTML(5), CSS and responsive web design are bonuses
- MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
