JOB OVERVIEW
The Recruiting and Human Resources (HR) Specialist will be responsible for a variety of recruitment and human resources tasks including but not limited to managing job boards, connecting with potential candidates, onboarding hired candidates and supporting Hiring Managers.
The Recruiting and HR Specialist reports to the Vice President and serves as a member of the Recruitment team. This position participates with the other members of the administration team to chart the direction of the organization.

The Recruiting and HR Specialist reports to the Vice President and serves as a member of the Recruitment team. This position participates with the other members of the administration team to chart the direction of the organization.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Creating and publishing job requisitions on various portals.
- Screen job applications and resumes.
- Conduct initial phone screens to create a shortlist of qualified candidates.
- Interviewing candidates or setting up interviews with Hiring Managers.
- Send and review pre-recorded interviews when needed.
- Track hiring metrics including but not limited to:
- Time-to-hire
- Time-to-fill
- Source of hire
- Current open positions
- Scheduled interviews
- Offers extended
- Hired candidates
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Sending and collecting pre-employment paperwork and creating candidates’ files.
- Onboarding new employees. Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Running background checks.
- Setting up and tracking pre-employment drug screens.
- Creating and sending offer letters.
- Creating and distributing Onboarding Checklist.
- Setting up assigned accesses.
- Sending onboarding invitations to new employees.
- Completing new employees’ I9s.
- Hiring new employees in the HRIS and creating their profiles.
- When necessary, welcome and meet new employees on their first day to go over any remaining onboarding tasks.
- Track sign-on and referral bonuses.
- Maintain candidate/employee databases such as Military/Veteran Employees and Candidate Status.
- Use databases to track potential candidates for future job openings.
- Setting up training for new Securatech Guard Services Officers and communicating with them about dates and locations.
- Staying informed about local job fairs and determining if attending is beneficial.
- Maintaining all Veteran and Military recruitment programs/associations.
- Other related duties as assigned.
