Responsibilities
Curriculum Design and Development:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and design effective, curricula and instructional materials.
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences integrating multimedia elements, activities, and assessments.
- Ensure that instructional materials are culturally responsive and inclusive.
- Develop e-learning modules, online courses, and blended learning experiences.
- Leverage learning management systems and digital tools for the delivery and tracking of online learning programs.
- Work closely with department managers/staff and external partners to gather content and feedback for instructional design projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align instructional materials with organizational objectives and learning outcomes.
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance reviews to ensure instructional materials meet high standards of accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness.
- Revise and update instructional materials based on feedback and evaluation data.
- Offer training and support to staff and our affiliates in the effective utilization of instructional materials and resources.
- Assist in the implementation and facilitation of training workshops as needed.
- Develop assessments and evaluation methods to measure the impact and effectiveness of instructional programs.
- Analyze data and feedback to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to executives and the board.
- Participate in special projects and willingly take on additional tasks as required.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- A commitment to the mission of Girls Inc.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in training-instructional design and delivery/facilitation experience
- Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools, learning management systems, and multimedia software (Articulate)
- A deep understanding of pedagogical principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Capability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Strong commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
